First-time buyers are expected to understand conveyancing, surveys, mortgage conditions, and legal searches — often with little more than an estate agent, a nervous family WhatsApp group, and a vague sense of what comes next.

You find yourself chasing solicitors, re-reading the same forum threads, and hoping nothing important falls through the cracks.

HomeStretch was founded in Cambridge, UK, by people who have been through the UK property process themselves — and found it needlessly stressful.
We're not a large corporation or a property giant. We're a small team building a focused product for a specific problem: helping first-time buyers feel in control of one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
Being based in the UK matters. We understand the nuances of the UK system — leasehold, freehold, help-to-buy, the role of solicitors, what a completion statement actually means. We're building for British buyers, not adapting an American product.
